In the poem, the poet discusses nature in two ways – first, he spoke about the endless beauty of nature. Secondly, he discussed the joy and relief that the beauty of nature brings to our soul. Beauty is an endless and constant source of joy & happiness, whose loveliness always grows and never passes onto nothingness.

John was born 31 Octobar in 1795. He is one of the romantic English poet of London. At first, he studied as a medical student from “Guy’s Hospital”, but eventually, he decided to devote himself completely to poetry.
His poems were generally not well received by critics during his lifetime. But after his unfortunate death on 23 February 1821 at the age of 25 due to tuberculosis, his reputation began to increase worldwide. “A thing of Beauty” is an excerpt from his poem ‘Endymion: A Poetic Romance’. Poem based on a Greek legend. Endymion is a beautiful young shepherd.
